Dr. Collie Miller is an active medical physics consultant within the Caribbean and has vast experience in the diagnostic and therapeutic uses of radiation. He was trained at the University of Alberta, Canada, where he received a Ph.D., in Medical Physics in 1996 and at the University of London, England, where he obtained the M.Sc. in Radiation Physics in 1987. He received the B.Sc. in Physics from the University of the West Indies in 1986.

Dr. Miller spearheads the development of Jamaica’s Radiation Protection and Safety Infrastructure Programme which is supported by the Vienna based International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). He is an Associate Lecturer in the Department of Surgery, Anaesthesia and Radiology at the University of the West Indies. He is a member of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine and the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology.
